Art & Craft

Slovenian art and craft features authentic and skilful artistic creativity. The products bearing a Slovenian art and craft certificate are a beautiful souvenir or a gift for your friends or business partners.

An old wisdom goes that some things are completely unrealisable until we manage to learn them, whilst the others cannot be taught until we create them. In fact, creativity and originality have been the guide lines to the creators and performers of the project USTVARJAJMO (WE MAKE ART) – Following the course of art and art of craft -  and undoubtedly of a great assistance at creating tourist programmes which encourage the creativity of its visitors (and natives). Besides, they emphasise particularity (in some cases also exceptionality) and the value of traditional and up-to-date arts of craft, knowledge, skills and artistic practice of the region the local action group called The variety of countryside comes from, including the municipalities of Celje, Laško, Štore and Vojnik.

We kindly invite you to discover and learn about artisan and art heritage of the region. Why not taking part in workshops established by mentors with all respect to the visitors’ previous knowledge and interests? Let the creativity touch us to set the vein of art free. Welcome!
