The Brewing History
At the entrance to the old town centre you will be welcomed by the beer king Gambrinus. When walking through the Špital building, now housing TIC Laško, you will be standing in the very spot where mead-maker Franz Geyer brewer the first barrel of Laško beer in 1825. Among other collections, Laško museum also offers demonstrations of the Laško’s old brewing traditions.
