The castle at the foot of Hum hill holds stories that date back to the 11th century. It was originally an administrative seat and court of justice, hunting base for the famed Counts of Celje and refuge fortress for locals during the time of Turkish invasions. That is when it was named tabor or camp. Nowadays the restored castle holds an exquisite restaurant with remarkable chef Marko Pavčnik.
