Chapters of the Festive Days
In December, Laško glows in the warmth of lights, music, and joyful experiences.
From 5 December 2025 to 11 January 2026, the town and its surroundings come alive with magical events for all generations. From the lighting of the Christmas lights and St. Nicholas’ arrival to the children’s and evening farewells to the old year, Laško breathes in the warmth of light, music, and togetherness.
The festive spirit comes to life at the ice rink, at Festive Laško on the Hayloft, and in the Fairy-tale Rimske Toplice, where the scent of winter treats and homeliness fills the air.
Creative workshops at Laška hiša invite visitors to enjoy handcrafting and cozy company, while the Holiday Home Corners offer a chance to chat with locals and discover authentic flavours.
On St. Stephen’s Day (Štefanovo), Laško celebrates tradition – with the blessing of horses and festive fish baking, bringing together locals and visitors alike.
