B5 – Holy Trinity trail

Besides being a spectacular viewing point, The Holy Trinity hill (851 m) above Jurklošter is a popular tourist destination for hikers and nature lovers. In clear weather you will be able to see al the way to Dolomiti in Italy, Sljeme in Croatia and multiple border mountains in Austria (Peca). From the Slovenia’s mountains you can catch a glimpse of Snežnik, Gorjanci, Lisca, Kum, Bohor, Donačka gora, Boč, Pohorje, Konjiška gora, Plešivec, Mrzlica, gora Oljka, Menina planina, Kamnik-Savinja Alps (Ojstrica, Planjava, Brana, Turska gora, Skuta, Grintovec) and Triglav (Julian Alps). At the top of the hill you will find the Holy Trinity church, part of the St. Maurice Jurklošter parish.
