A Taste of Tradition in the Heart of Nature
Where the old road once connected Štore and Laško, and where the church tower of Svetina peeks through the trees, you will find the perfect spot for a refreshing break. Stop by for a glass of homemade apple cider and a slice of ocvirkovka – a traditional Slovenian flatbread with pork cracklings. A simple yet unforgettable treat for those on the go!
Hikers, cyclists, and travelers exploring the trails between Celje Hut and Svetina often visit us for pre-ordered Sunday lunches. We take pride in serving dishes made from homegrown vegetables, locally sourced meat and cured products, fresh fruit, herbs, and wild mushrooms from nearby forests. The aroma of browned cream and farm-fresh delicacies fills our kitchen, promising a meal to remember.
We don’t serve ordinary carbonated soft drinks – here, it’s all about natural flavours. Our homemade apple cider or toukec is the pride of our historic cellar, crafted exclusively from heirloom apple varieties like Bobovec, Carjevič, and Krivopecelj. Since we grow and press our apples using traditional methods, each sip delivers an authentic taste that will pleasantly surprise you!
