4th Hike on the Pot SREČNO Trail from Laško to Zagorje ob Savi

The municipalities of Laško, Hrastnik, Trbovlje and Zagorje ob Savi invite all hiking and adrenaline enthusiasts to join the fourth hike on the themed tourist trail known as “POT SREČNO”.
The themed tourist hiking trail Pot SREČNO connects the municipalities of Laško, Hrastnik, Trbovlje and Zagorje ob Savi. This is a trail of living history characterised by commitment and resilience of our ancestors. The miners’ legacy, which unites, marks and shapes the places on the 29.7 km-long hiking trail, created their identity and development. The trail’s name stands for the typical miners’ greeting “SREČNO” (Good luck!), which is still used today. The majority of the trail runs through nature, where you can admire the rugged hilly area rich with coal, which united the locals forever. Numerous preserved mining facilities and technical heritage exhibits can be seen along the trail.

With the resilience of a miner, good physical shape and strong will, we will set off on the Pot SREČNO trail from Laško through Hrastnik and Trbovlje to Zagorje. The trail is 29.7 km long, Laško adding its 7.7 km, Hrastnik 9.3 km, Trbovlje 7.8 km and Zagorje ob Savi 4.9 km.

If you feel the entire trail is too intense, you can join us in any of the municipalities and walk a part of it. The expected timetable of arrivals and departures:

• 7.30 a.m. Start in Laško (Laško Railway Station),
• 9–9.30 a.m. Arrival to the border Laško – Hrastnik (in Brezno),
• 12.30–1 p.m. Arrival to the border Hrastnik – Trbovlje (in Ojstro),
• 2.30–3 p.m. Arrival to the border Trbovlje – Zagorje (Potoška vas),
• 4–4.30 p.m. Arrival to Zagorje ob Savi (Zagorje Port).

Registration fee: €15 (hiking pass of the Pot Srečno themed tourist hiking trail, drinks and snacks along the trail, hot meal at the end of the hiking event, bus transport from Zagorje ob Savi to Laško)

At the start, all participants will receive a hiking pass of the Pot Srečno themed tourist trail. They will be offered drinks and snacks along the trail, a hot meal at the finish in Zagorje ob Savi, and at the end of the event, bus transport will be organised on the route Zagorje ob Savi, Trbovlje, Hrastnik, Dol pri Hrastniku, Rimske Toplice and Laško. The bus departs from the Spar parking lot in Zagorje at 6 p.m.

At the finish in the Zagorje Port, beverages will be offered by a local hospitality service provider. This, however, is not included in the registration fee.

Organised by: Laško Municipality, Hrastnik Municipality, Trbovlje Municipality and Zagorje ob Savi Municipality in cooperation with STIK Laško and KRC Hrastnik public institutions, Sveta Barbara Sedraž Miners Association, RMED Srečno Zagorje Association and RMED Perkmandeljc Trbovlje and RRA Zasavje.

The hiking event will take place in any weather. We recommend wearing hiking shoes and clothes. You hike at your own risk.

The hiking event will take place entirely outdoors. Please follow the recommendations of health professionals to reduce the risk of potential infection with the coronavirus and preventive guidelines that apply to visits to public spaces and social distancing.
