Anzek’s Hike from Laško to Svetina

This interesting and scenic hike was organised to celebrate the Svetina local holiday and to commemorate Ivan Ulaga, also known as Vrhovski Anzek. On the recreational hike, we remember events from the past and enjoy good company. The trail leads past the settlements of Ojstro, Reka and Kanjuce to Veliki Vrh, where the birth house of folk musician and bandmaster of “Svetnska godba” (Svetina brass band) Ivan Ulaga, aka Vrhovski Anzek, stands.
We continue the hike to Svetina and conclude it with a mass for hikers and brass band players at 1 p.m.
This is the fifth hiking event of the Hiking Laško Trails 2025 promotional campaign.
