Hike from Sloge to Log

You are welcome to join us for a guided hike along the former narrow-gauge railway Trobni Dol – Lahomno, leading on the maintained themed tourist hiking trail B4 – Trail from Sloge to Log. The hike will be guided by a local tourist guide, who will tell you many interesting things about the narrow-gauge railway, the Trobni Dol brown coal mine and the life in the area at that time. The hike will end with a social event in the Mala Breza Shooting Club.

The hiking event is scheduled to end at 1 p.m. and bus transport will be organised from the Shooting Club to the hayrack in Sloge.

This is the second hiking event of the Hiking Laško Trails 2025 promotional campaign.

  • Type: cultural and recreational hike
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Duration: 3–4 hrs (with all the stops)
  • Length: 5.9 km (in one direction)
  • Description: Alongside the Lahomnica brook uphill to the hayrack of the Vrh nad Laškim Equestrian Society in Sloge, Tevče, along the Sopota valley, past the Mala Breza Shooting Club to the Ana shaft in the former Trobni Dol mine and back to the starting point.

Registration fee: €8 (guide, drinks and snacks along the trail, hot meal at the Mala Breza Shooting Club, bus transport from the Mala Breza Shooting Club to the hayrack in Sloge).

The hiking event will take place in any weather. We recommend wearing hiking shoes and clothes. You hike at your own risk.
