Hike on the Three Churches Trail

Nature and outdoor enthusiasts, join the Hiking Laško Trails event. We will walk on the Three Churches Trail to the Church of St Michael in Šmihel and continue our way to a memorial to a shot-down fighter plane in the end of the World War II by the Zdovc chapel in Kuretno. Through ”the Valley of Peace”, we will walk uphill to the Church of St Catherine in Kuretno, have a rest at “the trough” and at the Aleš Homestead, walk downhill to the Church of St Christopher and see the oldest pipe organ in Slovenia. We will return to Laško past the Perdih beech.
This is the sixth hiking event of the Hiking Laško Trails 2025 promotional campaign.
The hike will be guided by the local tourist guide Mr Tone Šterban. Participants of the hiking event will be able to visit the churches of St Michael in Šmihel, St Catherine in Kuretno and St Christopher in Strmca.
