Church of St. Catherine, Kuretno

As one of oldest in Laško area, dating back to 1500, the church surprises with a multitude of statues depicting various saints. The main altar is dedicated to St. Catherine, surrounded by statues of St. Margaret, St. Apollonia, St. Barbara and St. Lucy. The side altar opposite the pulpit is dedicated to St. Dorothy. It also contains a painting called Adoration of the Magi, an important work from the first half of the 17th century.
