Laško beer

Most people associate the word Laško with green lager Zlatorog beer from the Laško brewery.

Beer, brewed according to the traditional recipe and enjoyed by earlier generations, has a peculiar taste, characteristic bitterness, which is a result of carefully picked varieties of the Slovenian hops, and a thick head. Zlatorog is accompanied by dark, unpasteurised, unfiltered and alcohol-free types of beer from the brewery which has been brewing beer in Laško for almost 200 years!
