And even though it is with us remotely, it is at the same time very close. It has remained just the way it was and the way you are going to experience it in greater depth when you are going to rediscover it. SAFE AND INTERESTING WITH A MOBILE PHONE IN YOUR  HAND

Among the tourism novelties we will soon be proud of, special attention should be paid to virtual presentations at real locations. You will be able to explore the attractions of Laško on your mobile phone. The special digital experiences will revive the secrets of the Laško market centre and connect you to the poet Anton Aškerc at the Aškerc Homestead. By innovating the cultural heritage, the revived secrets of the old Jurklošter Carthusian Monastery, remains and ruins and the secluded life of the monks, which was marked by the love story between Frederick II and Veronica of Desenice, will become a virtual experience as well.  We will make these special spots of our destination a real and unique experience in cooperation with the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

To discover new stories, we first have to explore the ones that already exist. On the website, people tell stories about Laško via blogs. EYE TO EYE FROM A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE

Following all the protective measures, TIC Laško and Laško Museum have already reopened their door. Every Wednesday, you can buy produce and products from the local providers at the Homemade Goods Corner. The Laško Cultural Centre does not yet host live performances and events. However, you can listen to online Concerts from your Couch, featuring local musicians. This is a good way to be together at the same time and at the same event, but still keep the distance!

EXPECTING REAL VISITS

Once the conditions allow it, you should experience live everything Laško has to offer! Go for a swim in the thermal waters of Thermana Laško, Rimske terme and AquaRoma. Explore and learn about the brewing tradition. A new experience, a unique culinary trip known as HoneyBrew Laško Tour is not to be missed. Discover the secrets of the brewmasters in the Escape Room and go treasure hunting in the old town centre in the exciting outdoor Unlock Laško game.

BEER AND FLOWERS FESTIVAL 2021

Just when the world changed, our team was working intensively on the largest Slovenian festival – the Beer and Flowers Festival – which had to be cancelled due to our new reality. The highlight of the summer will be left out this time and postponed to the next year. However, you can still experience Laško decorated with flowers in the summer, sit in the garden of our pubs and treat yourself with the legendary Laško beer. You can get the feel of the street hustle and bustle and the pre-festival excitement with your eyes closed or you can watch videos of past festivals. See you next time!
